Incahoots [in cahoots], Southeast Florida’s Rhythm Revivalists, is a Boca Raton-based cover band delivering an eclectic, danceable mix of rock’s roots, country’s edge, reggae vibes, and soulful blues. We specialize in deep cuts you love but don’t often hear—far from the typical cover band fare. Starting as a trio in San Francisco in 2016, we honed our craft at venues like the prestigious Sweetwater before rebooting in Southeast Florida as a dynamic five-piece, bringing our fresh sound and tight chemistry to a new audience.
Incahoots captures a diverse musical landscape with deep rhythm sections, powerful keyboards and guitars, and rich, often duet-style vocals spiced with lush harmonies. Our setlist, featuring classics like “Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel and modern gems like “Watermelon Sugar” by Harry Styles, blends genres and eras through creative medleys and mash-ups. Formed by friends with a lifetime of musical experience, we play for the fun of it, delivering authentic, engaging performances that resonate with emotional depth and unexpected joy—playing songs you love but didn’t expect to hear!
Incahoots was started as a drum-bass-guitar trio in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2016, with the addition of a dedicated female vocalist a few years later. Three of the four original members (drums, bass, and vocalist) collectively migrated to Boca Raton, Florida in 2021. The original fourth member (guitar) is a long-distance bonus, though we hope he’ll make the migration at some point in the future. From there, we rebooted as a five-piece rhythm & blues revue lineup with local Southeast Florida talent.
Aubrey commands the stage as Incahoots’ lead vocalist, her voice a thread woven from a lifetime of music. Raised in California, where Elvis, Stevie Nicks, and The B-52s filled her home and school days, she began writing songs at 15, joining school choirs and local acts. By 16, she was pairing her lyrics with live instrumentation, a passion she carried through college and beyond. Inspired by vocal powerhouses like Ann Wilson and Bonnie Raitt, Aubrey’s sound is poetry in motion. Now a Boca Raton transplant, she balances her craft with a career in holistic skincare, infusing wellness into her art. Music remains her soul’s truest expression.
Chip anchors Incahoots with driving drums and vocals, a beat he’s been perfecting since seventh grade. From middle school concert band—mastering xylophone, timpani, and first-chair snare—through high school, he rocked percussion and sang in church choirs. His longest-running band before Incahoots was The Lazy River Jug Saw Band, a high school jam-blues outfit that grooved with soulful flair. Now, he hammers Roland V-Drums with style. Offstage, Chip’s a serial entrepreneur, founding OvationCXM and past ventures like IP Commerce, which hit $8B in payments, partnering with firms like Square and Intuit. A ‘40 under 40’ winner, he sails, dives, and fly-fishes globally. Drums fuel his fire; tech and adventure amplify it.
Daniel drives the rhythm and vocals as Incahoots’ bassist and singer, rooted in a rich musical journey. Classically trained on violin as a kid, he played jazz trumpet, but bass guitar stole his heart—vocals always in tow. In the ‘90s, he promoted concerts in Santa Cruz’s punk rock/ska scene. Later, he led a music production company, guiding singer-songwriters to digital platforms and TV/film soundtracks. Offstage, Daniel’s a tech leader, currently CTO at OvationCXM and a founder of several past ventures. A servant-leader who finishes the swing, he runs CVVC, an artisan winery and retreat in Carmel Valley, California. Music’s his core; tech and wine fuel the vibe.
Joe fuels Incahoots with electrifying guitar riffs and a lifelong love of strings. At 12, he picked up the guitar in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, and soon joined his first crew of schoolmate rockers. Growing up, he lit up local Newport clubs, later shredding stages from New York City’s Cheetah to Martha’s Vineyard private gigs. After a hiatus to focus on family and career, Joe kept his chops sharp in his home studio. Now in southeast Florida, he’s back in the live scene, blending soulful leads with a gearhead’s dream collection—Tom Anderson guitars, Fender amps, and Boss pedals galore. Offstage, he’s a tech-savvy family man; onstage, music’s his heartbeat. Contact Joe: 561.271.0345.
Bill layers Incahoots’ sound with keyboards and electronica, weaving in strings, horns, Rhodes, Hammond organ, synths, and piano flair. A veteran of countless bands—some fondly remembered, others happily forgotten—he’s been a musical shapeshifter since day one. Now in Delray Beach, Bill lights up spots like Arts Garage, Beatles On The Beach festival, Delray Beach Playhouse, and Crazy Uncle Mikes in Boca Raton. Offstage, he’s traded stage lights for Wall Street, currently steering the ship as CEO of a national stock exchange. A master of keys and calm under pressure, Bill blends his high-finance hustle with a deep love for music, bringing soul and swing to every performance.
